House Drawing by my friend by Doctor-Pencil House Drawing by my friend by Doctor-Pencil
*** I DID NOT DRAW THIS ***

Back in 1995, BEFORE I ever started drawing again, I sold a 1.5 million dollar house, and hired an artist (Gail Schoenamaker?) to draw the house for my client as a closing gift. The buyer turned out to be SUCH an A--hole that I kept his closing gift! It cost me $350 bucks!

The details in this thing is amazing, and I remember feeling inspired to want to draw as a result of it, although that would not happen for another 13 years later...

Just thought I would share!

This must have taken him/her ages. The details from what I can see are stunning. I'm sure it could have been worth a lot more than you paid for it.

Really great! I think it's much harder to draw such objects then faces. You know that's "only" a tree or a wall, for me it would be not that easy to "switch" and take hours for those details...

as sad as that is that the buyer was...you know...at least you kept such a great drawing! That could actually be a great thing to have if you ever need to look at a possible technique or appearance of something being used in it.
do you know (roughly) how long it took for the guy to draw this? also, what size?
