The UN-enlarged view is actually larger than the drawing, like most of my drawings, ha!
FIRST...cool story about MJ! When my son was about 14, my parents sent him to a Michael Jordan Basketball camp at Elmhurst college, near us. Anyway, Michael ran the camp all week. I got to meet him many times, shake hands and even talk with him a minute! I hate to use this analogy, but it was like meeting God! Now this was back in 1998 and he was still playing with the Chicago Bulls. He is arguably the GREATEST BB player (maybe athlete?) to ever run the hardwood floors! Kobe who? If you ever witnessed this guy in action, you would swear it was supernatural! He has 6 (two - three-peat) championship rings! I was never a BB fan UNTIL the day MJ came out of retirement (the first time) and my son and I never missed a game, and saw them go on to win 3 more championships in a row.
This was kinda tough, because the darker the pencils used, the softer and waxier they are, and it doesn't blend that easy because they add more clay to the graphite.
I used B for most of the black background, followed by a layer of 2B & 3B. See the technique used in my TIP GUIDE here www.drpencil.wordpress.com
