Orlando Bloom by Doctor-Pencil Orlando Bloom by Doctor-Pencil
I had a hard time with his eyes. I haven't learned my lesson about using less that quality reference photos I guess?

The photo was one where the center of the face is in focus, and everything else is slightly out of focus? It's hard to pull that off, and only tried it once before on my TRENT DABBS drawing.

I drew him too and I had the same problem... The difference is that mine is not even remotely as good as yours :(
However, Your art is beautiful (each of your drawings is a masterpiece) I hope I will achieve your level one day :D

Really beautiful work. And that the eyes gave you a hard time isn't visible at all. You've mastered them gorgeous (and that from an eye-focused person ;P)
Even though they're lying in shades, there are so many details visible and they look just natural.
The soft shading of his skin is very beautiful as well.

Gorgeous drawing ^__^

lol...good comment! I had a hard time with him for some reason. The photo was not that clear, and he had no Key Highlights in his eyes, so I put them there. I just finished teaching a portrait drawing class at a local college. It's funny cuz it all just fell in my lap. I sell real estate and have only been drawing for 1 year! :D Be sure to read my TIPS GUIDE I wrote, its in my gallery...

I'd say 90% of every one of my drawings took between 5-7 hours and are all only about 5-1/2 inches wide by 6-1/2 inches tall, paper edge to paper edge :)
