Portrait I drew 10 Years Ago

LOL I found this in a drawer recently. It's a drawing I did of my wife about 10 years ago. As some of you know, I stopped drawing from age 16 to 46, but I would occasionally pick up a pencil. This probably took me all of 20 minutes? I can tell I had some idea about shading, but that's about it?!? So now it's been 28 months and 1,500 hours later, after I started drawing again, and I practice like it's my job. I think I've improved...


I just wanted to give everyone hope, that if you practice, you WILL get better.
